mellow 0
time to decide as my number has come up on the build list. Just concerned that the muzzle blast will be so much on the 8" that i will need to wear gloves ? would love a 8" with a foregrip and no gloves needed. Im assuming its not hard to add a foregrip to the galil handguards? any input from others would be helpful
vulcan16 971
Tromix is the man to ask this question. He would have more knowledge then any of us.
gunfun 3,931
I noticed that tromix shows a flash hider on the newer pictures rather than the shark break as standard. I bet your question is the reason.

kevin.rose0@gmail.com 62
I fogot and shot my 8" without gloves. Didn't seem to be a big deal.
BobAsh 582
The shark brake is still the most popular muzzle device being ordered. I'm not sure what photos you're referring to. (null)
MCASgt New River 10,036
Being a, very proud, owner of the S17 with the newer version Shark brake I can say it is not only comfortable to shoot but the new brake deflects the blast more outward rather then back around your hand. I have fired everything from bird, buck and slugs in both 2-3/4" and 3" and no muzzle blast or ill effects were felt by me or 3 of my other friends that regularly shoot with me. FYI, I never were gloves anymore. MCASSgt New River
