RED333 1,025
Well I am not a metric kinda man, so I picked up a 5/8 x 24 die and TAT. Since I am a cheep SOB I made my own die handle. It came out nice, now to find or make a brake.

Red Dirt 1
Could you post pics? I am trying to do the same. My barrel is .670 but it "necks up" to .69something right behind the front sight. Im kinda at loss on how to go about the threading job.

DrThunder88 912
You needn't thread back to the barrel behind the front sight if you're moving the FSB back. I just did mine. Like RED333, my rifle had the thicker .670 diameter under the front sight, but by oiling up and powering through I was able to get the threads cut all the way back to the Dinzag-modified FSB.
