todmich 16
Does any body shoot either Centurion 1oz round ball or Nobelsport 1oz round ball ammo in their Saiga? Was wondering how it worked out for you guys.
RobRez 1,895
Round ball ammo is pretty inaccurate so I stay away from it. That is why the prices are so appealing. Round ball + smooth bore = Musket accuracy. Boooo-Hisss!
oilstain 1
Anyone know the reason Centurion stopped making their slugs? Anyone do any significant testing as to the accuracy of these things? Why aren't they dimpled, they'd fly farther :-P
kyvtx1300 5
I picked up a few boxes of the Centurion Round Ball and can hit paper at 100 yards with open sights. I would not shoot an animal with one, but a human or paper is fine, if you are not looking for sniper rifle accuracy.
physicsnerd 139
I've been tempted because they're cheap and would work well on jugs, pumpkins, etc. They might even be less dirty than the slugs as the ball is in a cup and not bare against the inside of the barrel? Did Centurion stop making their slugs or are they just in need of being imported?
PA Shooter 7
a true marksman would shoot skeet with them, then hide for 48 hours... lol

PA Shooter 7
Zombies... I almost want somebody to make a zombie shooting range. Zombies made from ballistic gel that slowly creep towards the shooter... Imagine how fun that would be!

ktcm7271 999
I got 40 pounds of single ball and 40 pounds of double ball. The single ball is slug accurate to 40 yards. The double ball is not accurate at all and kicks real bad. Hope that helps.
todmich 16
Thanks for the replys, I am not really looking for sniper accuracy just something to fire at the range. They kind of frown on birdshot there.
gunfun 3,931
KT- you bought the ball in bulk for reloading? How much does that end up costing per round?
