brownwood 11
I recently finished a basic 5.45x39 conversion. I got a chance to shoot it this past weekend with a Red Head 2x7 scope. PICs speak for themselves. The gun: 3 shot group using Silver Bear 60 grain ammo at 100 yards:
JohnNicholasM 7
That is as good as most bolt action rifles. Surprisingly good!
TARE 47
The accuracy must be attributed to your poison ivy camo scheme
universal_exports 18
I would try a 5 or 10 shot group to get a better feel for the accuracy. I can occasionally get a 1.5 inch group of 3 with my 7.62x39 AK, but if I shoot 10 rounds it ends up being 3.5 or 4.5 inch group. if your 1st shot was a cold bore shot, that is awesome. usually the 1st cold shot if off a bit. supertex 242
looking good , what muzzle brake is that?
brownwood 11
looking good , what muzzle brake is that? Hmm, Im not sure. It was in my parts box, marked made in USA. I used one of those thread adapter collars and dimpled the barrel on my drill press to hold it on.
