Joe6801 2
I am debating on two different AR buffer tube receiver block adapters. One bolts from the top and side of the trunion which seems to be more stable due to multiple secure points. The other has less mounting points but looks like a stable product aswell. What is you’re experience with either? Should I worry that there are less mounting points and may cause failure or wobble in the future?
RobRez 1,895
No experience with those. Are you putting that on a Saiga? if so, what is your motivation for such a thing, if I may ask?

I want to place a Mil Spec buffer tube and slap on a Magpul Mil Spec stock but need to know if the greater/lesser number of mounting point will make a difference in overall reliabilty or longevity of the adapter. RobRez 1,895
Seems to me that over time, screws loosten up under the stress of shooting. I have noticed the effect with my ACE folder a bit and even my Romy folder before using lok-tite. I think the less mounting points the better, in general.
