22_Shooter 1,560
................now I need the gun to put them on! (It should be shipping out from Buds soon; Ruger SP101) Snapped some pics with my cell. I'll get better ones once I get the SP101 and mount them. In the last two pics, I guess I had shifted the 2 sides a tad out of alignment. When they're lined up, you can't even tell they're 2 separate pieces. It's seamless The pics don't do them justice. They look amazing, and feel great. Money well spent. It's also pretty cool for me, that they're made right here in SC.
echoside190 127
That's a fine looking set of grips! I didn't even notice they came in halves until you mentioned it and looked again, top notch craftsmanship to blend wooden grips to flow perfectly. I think I'm convinced to order a set of these for mine.

I also note, that even though there is no 3rd groove for your pinky, the rounded hump at the bottom provides enough area to keep your pinky from feeling left out. 22_Shooter 1,560
Wise choice, Shooter. Very nice. Thanks, man. .............and now I can see what you were talking about when I asked you about making a set. I didn't realize there would be so many precise cuts on the inside of the grip, lol. MCASgt New River 10,036
When your pistol comes in please compare the size differance to the factory ones please. Only reason I'm not getting them if I got big mitts and I dont want any slipage while shooting if you know what I mean. Thanks, MCASSgt New River

I'm working this weekend, which is when my gun will most likely be dropped off at my FFL's place. So I probably won't be able to pick it up until Monday. But I'll report back with my impressions of the size difference and some comparison pics.

22_Shooter 1,560
Very nice Shooter! Do they come in Russian red?-) j/k can't wait to see them on you sp101 Me neither! They do come in rosewood (as well as walnut, and the black like mine). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILu4rxp2aY8 I think the light walnut ones would look badass on a blackened SP101. Yoshi 87
Congrats man! I know its been in your want bin for a while. Definently let us know how they compare to the grip on the rubber ones. I hadnt even looked at a Ruger until you posted those pics. I have two safe queens since I got the sp.
NM0 586
They look real nice. That color will go well with the brushed stainless. Look forward to hearing how they work for you. Enjoy the new little hand cannon when you finally get it!

Glad I could be of assistance in making your wallet a little lighter! And for sure, on the grip comparisons. They look real nice. That color will go well with the brushed stainless. Look forward to hearing how they work for you. Enjoy the new little hand cannon when you finally get it! Yeah, the black looks awesome with the stainless. It's a nice combo!
