wagdog 0 Posted January 29, 2012 Report Share Posted January 29, 2012 Put a couple hundred rounds of milsurp ammo through my saiga yesterday. It functioned great. I can't get over the lack of recoil! It took me forever to clean all the carbon buildup afterwards though. Also, the gas piston had quite a bit of wobble. Is that normal? I could see the threads on it too. Not all of them. Just the first one. Kinda freaked me out but I am a newbie to the AK platform Quote Link to post Share on other sites

DisThunder82 2 Posted January 30, 2012 Report Share Posted January 30, 2012 I took mine out yesterday as well! Not sure what part of Utah you're in, but I went to the PMAA range outside Park City. I had a great time, this is quickly becoming my favorite gun to take- cheap to shoot, recoil like a 22 on steroids, and impressive accuracy- I tested out my Krebs FS also and spent the rest of the day grinning. At 50-75 yards, it's untouchable. I shudder to think what a real marksman could do with this thing. Being as this is the Police Mutual range, I definitely got some interesting looks from the LLE's doing their spray and pray M4 practice alongside me.... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
