sbcman 3
I had the pleasure to shoot a multigun match at Bluegrass Sportsmans League (Versailles, KY) last Saturday. My 3-gun platforms are a Saiga 12, Saiga 223 and an M&P9 (because Saiga doesn't make a pistol ). Anyway, the last course of the day was all rifle. We had to put 5 on an IDPA target at 100 yards, standing and unsupported then we had to put 5 on an IPSC target at 200 and could do whatever we wanted (I went prone). When all was said and done, the little Saiga went all alphas on both targets, with iron sights! Only guy on the squad to do it, maybe the only guy in the match but don't know that for sure. Impressed the folks enough that it made the news- http://bgslinc.com/modules.php?name=BGSL_Sport_SSPROREV&file=page&load=Match Results.html, hit the results link at the upper right and you'll see it in red a few lines down. Saiga power baby!

gunfun 3,931
I can't overstate my jealousy that your side of the country has events like that for $20. Congratulations.

sbcman 3
Thanks guys! Since that course was our last of the day we got to tear it down. I kept these as a souvenir. The Octagon target is the 200 yarder (prone), the IDPA target is the 100 yard (standing, unsupported). Shot with Tula 55gr FMJ from a SGM 100rd drum.
