I'm using an MI AK Side Mount with a scoped 42 mm Objective Lens on my 7.62x39 20 inch barrel Sporter and needing the lowest ring height mount. Best quality rings and lowest possible mount? I mounted a Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x42 mil dot reticle scope attached to a Midwest Industries AK side rail using Leupold Rifleman Detachable High Rings - 1.147" 55870 to get clearance over the rear sight leaf of my Saiga 7.62x39 20 inch barrel carbine. I laser sighted the bore at 25 yards using a SightMark Laser Bore Sight. Went to the range and benchrest shot 20 rounds of TulAmmo 122 GR. at 50 yards. The runners at 7 o'clock and 8 o'clock were sight in adjustments. The remaining 18 rounds on center. I am still looking for the correct height of true picatinny rail scope mount rings for optimal fit. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
