NM0 586
I googled "saiga color marking" and found an old post. Google plus the word "saiga" and topic is the way to go for searching this forum. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/57552-coloring-markings-lettering-and-numbers/ Have fun. echoside190 127
Laquer stiks work well and they're pretty cheap online. To do it with liquid white out degrease the area then apply it over the lettering and before the excess has time to dry take a rag with remoil on it and wipe it off and it'll leave the whiteout in the lettering. If it needs another coat just let it dry and repeat the process. There are a lot of how to videos for using the white out method on youtube showing how to do it step by step as well. mancat 2,368
Testor's model paint on a toothpick. Use a small amount at a time - it will fill in very quickly. Used it on my WASR, and has resisted all cleaners, even non-CL brake cleaner. If you screw up really bad, lacquer thinner will remove it. icefire 10
Liquid Wite-out ( paper correction fluid) really works well! I used to use paint, etc. until I tried it. You wipe it in, let it dry, then wipe off excess with gun oil, works great, and can be rempoved later if you like...
mancat 2,368
I would suggest you start with the basics before you go all out.. Usual Russian/Bulgarian practice was to fill the serial numbers on trunnion and bolt carrier, and nothing else. I see a lot of Saigas where every single proof mark and inscription is filled in, and it ends up looking rather "busy."
