My MKA 1919 is complete...Enjoy the Porn

Recommended Posts

So here she is...My beautiful baby. I've been a busy little beaver. I did the Tromix Stock Conversion, added a Magpul MOE stock, painted the front factory handguard with Brownells Alluma-Hyde II in "Coyote" color, added some rails (some of which are a little uneven and will be tweaked in the near future), added Magpul MBUS sights, a Hogue Full Size Desert Tan rubber grip, and Magpul AFG Gen 1 front grip.

I love the way the gun turned out but have a little tweaking to do to get it just right. Any way, enjoy the porn!

Yea I'm planning on buying the adapter for saiga's because there are more breaks available. Thanks for the positive remarks, I busted ass on it to make it look good.

Hopefully this is a win in the customizing department for MKA 1919.

First and foremost: You did a superlative job with it! 027.gif. . . .027.gif. . . .027.gif. . . . 027.gif

I have never personally seen a MKA-1919. . . so I've no first-hand knowledge. But I find your photos interesting regarding the proportionality of the furniture. Specifically, the rear stock seems darned diminutive in proportion and scale to the shottie's forend. . . almost like an optical illusion. I don't mean this as a negative. . . the MKA is obviously structurally different; just not personally use to the sight of one. wink.png

Looks awesome though!

I was standing at an angle when I took the shot and the gun was tilted at an angle. That's why it looks funny. :)

Took her to the range today. She shot amazing! People were shocked that it was a shotgun. I also brought her to the gun show this past weekend to see if I could find any accessories. Everyone that saw it could not believe it was a shotgun. Hopefully people will go buy one now and add on to this guns growing legacy.

Where did you go shoot? I live just down Hwy. 92 from Woodstock...

Why not get this http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-1305/Akdal-MKA-1919-Brake/Detail and keep the ability to change chokes?

I strongly doubt that you would ever feel the need to change out brakes, but chokes are something worth changing for many reasons. i.e. different range, different game/ ammo, tuning to a specific competition....

I like what you've done

Not meaning to sound like a hater or anything, but the attached rails look ... uneven. Performance > Aesthetics, all the way. But still... personally, i'd leave just the front-most rail that mounts the front MBUIS

I think I have some random magpul MOE rails lying around that I could use to mount my spare MBUIS... I HATE the stock plastic front sight on the 1919

Other than that, FANTASTIC job. Your buttstock conversion and paintjob look impeccable

Also, my rear MBUIS was tough to get on my rail but I just had patience with it and would tap it in place with a little force and eventually it came on.

Have patience with it, it'll get on there ;)

Yea ive changed it up a lite since these photos. No worries tho

You did give me a good idea though

I had some old Magpul MOE rail lying around, and it fit on the handguard with a little trimming

I'm gonna cut the rail about 1/3 in size today along with cutting the factory stock off (wish me luck haha)
