dolomite_supafly 56
I am going to be buying a standard style forearm for my S12. I know it needs to be relieved to clear the barrel. But I am concerned about the fron mount. I am wondering if there is a front mounting bracket to make using a standard AK forearm easier? I am going to be buying one of the stocks in this ad: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/72305-ak-polymer-skeleton-stocks-upper-lower-handguards-mags/ Thanks Dolomite
Bridis 319
Stop on by Carolina Shooters Supply and take a look at their selection. I'm sure you'll find something that requires no modifications to install.
dolomite_supafly 56
How about a link to what you are thinking. All I can find is the Galil style handguard bracket. http://store.carolin...ND-GUARD/Detail Is this the one I need? grommit666 24
I think this is what you're looking for http://dinzagarms.com/saiga_12/bor1220.html Dinzag is awesome. He makes a retainer for the upper handguard too.
SouthernKahrCarier 0
I have the lower retainer BOR1220 from Dinzag for my Ironwood forearm. Looks good, has a sling mount. I'll probably be purchasing the upper retainer and a few other items from him soon.
dolomite_supafly 56
I have left messages with K-Var and never got a return call. They are now off my "buy from" list. Even if they had called and said I don't have anything that will work I would have been happy. I am happy their business is doing so great that my money is not wanted or needed. In the end I made my own retainer and it works great. Dolomite Edited March 31, 2012 by dolomite_supafly
