I have been looking through the forum

I use that rail with a set of H&K irons on my S-12. Aimpoint micros and similar small red dots, (e.g. the Bushnell TRS-25), cowitness easily.

Aimpoint Comp in an Aimpoint low mount should cowitness as well. Not the same setup but you can see how it cowitnesses on my rig.

Granted, I have a rail cover on in this pic, but the Chaos rear sight looks like it sits higher than the Tromix setup I have.

I don't understand how a dust cover rail with optics mounted can work out. My dust cover has a little bit of play in it. Plus wouldn't removing the dust cover and replacing it cause loss of zero?
