retlaw 0
Just installed a Tapco g2 trigger group in my 223. Now I can't get the bolt carrier back in. It appear the bottom of the bolt carrier is catching on the hammer. Any ideas?
liberty -r- death 1,445
More than likley it is not actually the hammer causing the issue. Chances are pretty good that the screws for the new trigger guard are too tall and need to be filed down. The back the hammer is likely hitting the top of the front screw and is not allowing the bolt function properly. It is an issue a number of members have run into when converting. G O B 3,516
Is the hammer in backwards? This is a common mistake.

retlaw 0
Yep, it was the screw to the new trigger guard causing the problem. Thanks!
