MindRiot 83
Wolf Performance Arms visited the Molot factory last month to get some cool new Vepr stuff, like the Vepr-12. Here are some quick pics of the Vepr 12-K or shorty for your consideration. No, these are law enforcement only
gregomega 929
These things keep growing on me more and more. Starting to like the Vepr 12. Any idea on MSRP. Hopefully around 1G like the Saigas? Cheaper would be nice but I think thats insulting Vepr's Quality....imo. Nice!!!, just saw the windage adjustment on the rear sight leaf. SICK!!!! Sharky 1
WOW !!! That is the sh!t ... I wonder how the stock latch works with it being in that location ?? Cain't wait till we get the USA Version here then the mod's can begin !! Sharky
MindRiot 83
For the local Russian market when you fold the stock it engages a safety device so you can not fire the shotgun with the stock folded.
gunfun 3,931
It has a square backed receiver too.
randyf 35
It has a square backed receiver too. I hope they import them with a square reciever. Might be a deal breaker for some if they don't.
Superhawk138 202
I'm guessing they will look a lot like this. With the hated slant cut. Edited April 22, 2012 by superhawk138
randyf 35
I'm guessing they will look a lot like this. With the hated slant cut. That would be a shame. It would be easier to move the trigger and weld the holes than to weld the corner back on the receiver
67ratrag 1
If the receiver is slant cut, can the fcg be placed as rearward as the imported 030s we are seeing come in to the USA? If they are imported like the Legion Saiga 030s are in the "sporterized" version, It seems there will not be enough receiver to use if the slant cut is made. I am hoping that the receivers come in square due to this.
ufo 20
For the local Russian market when you fold the stock it engages a safety device so you can not fire the shotgun with the stock folded. 5mins of work... Option 1 - cut it! Option 2 - remove that part from frame! I like this shorty very much... I've seen it at IWA 2012 in Germany.
red_cedar 28
Even if they came in with the wood stock, I'll be in for one.
XD45 7,124
I'm guessing they will look a lot like this. With the hated slant cut. I like that alot. Except for the short sight radius.

SICK!!!! yeah, cause you need windage adjustments on a shotgun!!!!!!!!! shades_of_grey 1,092
The "LE only" model doesn't interest me, just more gun porn of a cool long gun I'll never have. In fact; I don't really like the thought of our para-military "law enforcement" ossifers sporting Vepr-12s, just itchin to find an excuse to use em. Cops do not need these, they outgun the citizenry badly enough as it is. It'd be great if some of our military had the option to carry the Vepr-12, but the dipshit Pentagon will never allow that. They'd rather pay more for vastly inferior 'merican shotgun designs like the AA-12. I'd like to see some pics of how the "standard" imported models, (that we lowly plebes will actually be allowed to own without NFA horseshit), will be configured. That is what's relevant for the vast majority of us here.

physicsnerd 139
I'm guessing they will look a lot like this. With the hated slant cut. If the imported version looks like this then I will be in for one. Much more balanced out of the box than the Saiga's.

red_cedar 28
I'm guessing they will look a lot like this. With the hated slant cut. This is somewhat the configuration that the 'Russian Tigers' came in. Bring it in and I will buy.
bigj480 203
Is it too late to reply? My opinion is that slant cut = no purchase. There is no sporting purmose clause for shotguns anymore, right? Even if so, Import it with a pinned folder, no pistol grip the same FSB/GB and a legal length bbl. MindRiot 83
Ours will be coming with no slant cut, I repeat, no slant cut receiver on the Molot Vepr-12's. That is all
