Actually I was under the impression that RAA has already taken the position of no hi-caps. See this quote from a forum thread: "Hi Nathan, Let me introduce myself my name is Debbie. Ronswin is our firsthand reporter on this, but basically the ATF had them sign off on not importing high caps and promised to leave them alone. RAA might have gone thru this same hoop? I'm not sure what they are, but I was at a gun show and a guy had 4 saiga clips but no gun. So I should be paying $9.00-$10.00 an ounce for silver on ebay instead of buying it from my broker for $2.00-$3.00 less?? Or what about the 100-round Chi-com AK drum I bought for less than $100.00 last week? There's one on Gunbroker for $225.00 right now. Should I rush back to the gun store and cut the guy another check? The majority of ebay buyers these days are people who look there first instead of shopping around, doing their own research, and trying to find a realistic price or better deals. People sell on ebay to make money. There's nothing at all wrong with that. But to say that ebay prices are indicative of real-world prices or market value is totally fallacious. The "standard" for fair market price is based on the rule, not the exception, which is what the artificial marketplace of ebay represents. I am sure that had something to do with them picking up this line of firearms, as there was such a demand for them, SOMEONE was bound to start selling them. how much of a price increase from the last importer is the question really.
