Tony, how did your springs feed?

Curious how the feed test went on your prototype mag. I am having a bit of a problem with irregular spring compression. Thinking I might have to adjust the lengths a bit.

 

Wanted to know how you faired.

I haven't played with the magazine in awhile. I had to stop dicking around and get back to making stuff that brings money in the door, now.

 

During testing, it would usually stop once or twice in eight rounds. Sometimes the round would feed too high, other times too low. It appeared that my follower was rocking back and forth and causing the problem. I need a closer tolerance fit between the magazine body and the follower, and possibly longer legs on the follower as well.

I think my follower is the main problem as well. It also seems too loose, and tends to lean back too far. I too had to get back on track a while and make some money.

You guys are both right on the money. From my extensive testing of a mag extension complete with a new follower, the follower is very finicky and has to be just right.
