TheDarkHorse 216
I don't think this has been covered here before... I know I haven't seen it. This is a "Shooter's bag" sold in the sporting goods dept. at Wally World. It's marketed under the Winchester name and made by the Allen company. It's designed to be a pistol-range bag, but it is perfect for my MD20 drums. I have several of these that I use to store and transport my various mags. For $20 + tax, it's hard to beat.

ChileRelleno 7,071
MD20 springs are heavy duty, feed lips are glass filled polymer reinforced with steel lips... You can leave them loaded, I do.
The_Caged_Bird 474
Mag springs never weaken when you leave them loaded, simple physics...

timy 1,185
Good deal. Now I can give my wife her purse back and also won't be ridiculed for carrying one to the range anymore. A win/win situation.

TheDarkHorse 216
*Update* It seemed like there might be just enough room... ...and there was....barely!! But you can shoe-horn 5 in there!! God bless America. (edit) and, yes, it will zip-up fully closed... but you have to turn the necks to 10 or 2 o'clock. moose421 0
Sweet, now I have to just get the bag. Wait then I have to get the mags to fill it. My wife will love that logic. Kim
bulldog_shotgun 47
I carry mine in SAW gunners pouch's purchased from Cope's Distributing. for heading to the range i just toss them in my large DRACO range bag.
danklab 57
I got one of those for Christmas a couple years ago. Pretty much the same thing, but green. It quickly found it's place in my gear as the saiga mag carrier, then the drums. edit: I need a couple more drums to fill mine up though. Warthog35F 11
I use a G.I. Pro-mask carrier for the non milItary guys it's just a ugly green gas mask bag with carrying strap or it can be hooked around your hip and thigh wich just makes you look cool...lol $3.00 military surplus stores they will only hold one though. The Winchester bag is a good idea but I only have one drum Edited July 24, 2012 by Warthog35F
telero 4
The worst part about this forum is that I keep finding new things I want to buy, and a reason to get 5 drums...I don't think I could let the bag be less than full.
