haugpatr 972 Posted April 26, 2012 Report Share Posted April 26, 2012 I was under the impression that the sight leaf itself doesn't really matter, that essentially they are all the same, the difference is in the sight block which will determine the vertical rise of the rear sight. Said another way an AK47 and an AK74 sight leaf are interchangeable because the sight blocks are different not the sight leafs. Well got the new 7.62, now just need to get out and shoot it. Ahhhhh.. my eyes! Trigger guard... (still) in the wrong place. Barrel.. entirely too long.
