SKSseven 0
I have my eyes on one of these and was wondering if the magwell is removable so it can accept MD arms drums? Anyone know?
Fallschirmjager667 729
no, the gun is permanently modified for those russian mag wells so it can't use rock and lock mags
lelandeod 179
Yeah... and since it doesn't take a lot of fumbling around with an awkward/heavy drum to reload, you can don't need the damn thing. ...just deep pockets.
joebanda1213 59
I know someone who modified the tower of a drum for the russian magwell. He said he will never make another one though.
SKSseven 0
Ok so now I am wondering if this rifle only uses propriety magazines or if other sick mags can be used? The only advantage to this I can see is the the standard AK gas system. What are the advantages over this VS a standard saiga?
lelandeod 179
Commercial Saigas are better suited for entertainment. The 030 is an actual combat shotgun that I would trust my life with. I love my 109's... but they seem like toys compared to the real deal. We are very lucky to have these coming into the country now. The only real downside is the purchase cost and the $100 ea. magazines. For most people, it's not worth the expense. Edited May 14, 2012 by lelandEOD
