gose 17
I wont post anything here until we get a site ,sponsor/dealer setup. Still waiting on DIE maker's for a final cost to have die's made , supposed to have bids last week. As soon as we get some more info on the $$$$ , we'll get things rolling. You just gonna do 10-rounders or anything larger as well? Will the price point be about the same as the factory 10s?

Even if/when factory 10s hit the US, there should be plenty of interest in a US made mag, especially if its holds 12/
FoxHound 3
Yeah, I'm looking forward to some quality American made mags. Not impressed with this Turkish "quality" (After about 20 rounds, this 2 3/4 inch magazine holding 1200fps 00buck had its feed lips bend inwards. Not kosher at all)
Syndicate 812
how'd you manage that? I have 250+ at least out of each mag I got with it and 50 a piece on the extra
FoxHound 3
The magazine's lips were defective or something My 3 inch magazine and my other 2 3/4 mag work just fine. I mean the paint is scratched off from the bolt extracting shells, but this was the only magazine that its lips bent inward.
Syndicate 812
extra metal most likely or it was formed poorly
toothandnail 275
Hard to tell for sure but looks like it's hitting the bottom of the bolt. can happen when doing a quick mag change , ie during a match. The stops on the mag DON"T prevent over insertion.

Hate how the bolt retainer is so weak, wish it would stay open better like an actual AR
bulldog_shotgun 47
ya I noticed the slopitude on them. Hate how the bolt retainer is so weak, wish it would stay open better like an actual AR i fixed this on both of mine. one of them wouldn't hold the bolt unless the empty mag was installed. field strip and look, your BHO is probably hitting one side of you upper. i just used a file and made a clearance cut now it can engage bolt face by about 1/4 inch. My other mags worked fine but I can see some "chipping" on their lips too. Edited September 14, 2012 by FoxHound

gose 17
Ugh, saw some pics of the new 10 round factory magazines and they look like a 2 round mag with an 8 round polymer extension... Sure, they might be cheaper than the FIrebird ones, but its definitly not what I was hoping for...
