Ronswin 26
As long as those slugs are soft lead Foster-type slugs then no problem.
Mullet Man 2,114
As long as those slugs are soft lead Foster-type slugs then no problem. Curious why it matters if they are "soft lead Foster type"?
Agent Lemon 157
I would like to know more about this as well, since I know jack shit about shotguns. I was under the assumption that its okay to shoot all 2 3/4in. and 3in. 12ga shells in a Saiga12? Please explain in great detail heh
G O B 3,516
If you have a long barreled S-12 with a full choke (1mm restriction ) made into the barrel, then you cannot shoot sabot type or hard slugs thru it. You can easily tell if your gun has an internal choke. Factory threaded barrels have no restriction, if you do not have factory muzzle threads, drop a dime thru the muzzle, if a US dime will not pass thru the muzzle then it is choked. If the dime drops thru you have no restriction.

TORKIT 20
Dime fell right through, was just worried about pressure, thanks.
Agent Lemon 157
I didn't know that they can come form the factory with built in chokes. Cool.
G O B 3,516
The older long barrels are 1MM restriction. Something like an extra full choke.
Ronswin 26
Foster-type slugs are usually soft lead and will compress down through the choke without pressure issues and will group fairly well on target. I've been using Remington Sluggers for years through my Saiga-12 and get very good groups with modified or even full chokes.
