SaigaShooter 0
thats missing alot of something. there should be a sling stud on the front, and alarge tab on the back with a captive nut in it. Edited September 22, 2005 by SaigaShooter
hilljack 0
Thanks guys. Just wanted to make sure, they were SUPPOSED to be the same. Looks like someone borrowed some parts off of this one.

vjor 2
What you have there, is and old saiga hand guard, and nothing is missing, that is the way the saigas used to be, used to use the gas tube to hold the front hand guard, the new ones have a screw on bottom to hold the hand guard to the receiver. IndyArms 10,186
What Vjor said.... The old styles slipped the pins into the slots at the front of the handguard, then the gas tube locked the rear in place so it couldnt move... you had to REMOVE the gas tube to take the handguard off... when the gas tube was off, the handguard slid to the front and released from a long pin that was driven thru the gasblock... that handguard is FINE... just made for the OLD model Saigas...
