drkstrw 15
Just bought a IZ 218 and converted it had to wait for a 2 3/4 inch mag as the one it came with was a 3 inch. It works just fine with 3 inch but the 2 3/4 inch are catching the brass just before the plastic and lodging in the action. I have gotten 2 out but its usually been stove pipeing on every round. I got it used not sure how well it was used also added a CSS performance puck. Am thinking of having Pauly do the bolt and carrier polish. Any other suggestions where to start ? I am very unsure about taking the front gas block off so that would be a last resort. Thanks, Wayne
IndyArms 10,186
Shoot the fuck out of it with 3 shells to break it in... and I mean a LOT of shells... I ran mine for a summer long trap league. 50 rounds a week for about 12 weeks... by the end it did not stovepipe ANYTHING on the #1 setting.
drkstrw 15
I got the gun used so not sure how much it was used it came only with the 3" mag had to buy a 2 3/4" mag. It works fine on 3" shells just will not fully cycle 2 3/4" shells.
