Lots of great lil'buddies here! This is a pic is Kitty just this weekend. Can you believe she was 35lbs when I got her, a year and a half ago? I figure she is around 6 years old or so. Lots of grey, and a good napper, and she's got to be at least 60lbs now!
I hate it when they leave me, but I am greatful for another opportunity to give another dog a "Dogs life."
Nice to see happy dogs and cats....even stinky ferrets are OK too I suppose.

Here are my two dogs.

Evie. 1/2 American Eskimo 1/2 Pomeranian. She's 2 years old and about 30lbs.

Posted Image

Posted Image

And this is Rocky. Just got him on Wednesday. He's 10 weeks old and the kennel thinks he's 1/2 Jack Russel 1/2 Rat Terrier. After reading up on both breeds I can tell there is definitely a Rat Terrier. Very smart dog. in a day and a half he learned to hold it in until we go outside. Hasn't learned to ask yet. At the moment my other dog wants nothing to do with him. She generally avoids him and growls when he comes near but doesn't bite or snap. She also doesnt like him playing with her toys which is kinda odd since friends have come with their dogs and she plays with them and has no problem sharing toys. I'm hoping this will pass since he's a really smart and cute little guy who shouldn't be in a kennel.Oh, and for a little 5lbs guy his quantity of shitting in a single sitting will put most grown men to shame! I dont know where he stores all that. Posted Image

ya they are really weird, he growls like he's talking and since my ex had a cat that would lay on him and purr, he growls when you rub his belly and sometimes when you spet him, like he's trying to be a cat. Really oddball habits also. he likes getting underneath couch cushions and nesting, or knock them to the floor with his nose, loves hiding under blankets and trying to sneak up on you.

My American Eskimo/Pom mix is the same way!

When I was looking for a second dog I wanted to get a Corgi but there were non for adoption. I ended up with a Jack Russell/Rat terrier.

Our right to keep and bear arms - personally - is the essential element of political liberty, without which we would stand as mere slaves of any current administration, as do most of the people in the world today. We treasure our right to be armed, not only as defense against tyrants, but also as defense against evil men acting alone. Our right to defend ourselves against felons by force of arms protects not only our liberty but also - and this is often overlooked - our dignity. Dignity is a word not often used in the Age  of the Wimp, for by definition a wimp has no dignity.  But dignity remains not only desirable but essential to persons of consequence.  This concept is rejected by the socialist, who feels that dignity resides solely in the state. But we Americans are not socialists (at least most of us are not) and we prize our unique status in world society.

Great pics, everybody! It's great seeing all these best friends posted.

ya they are really weird, he growls like he's talking and since my ex had a cat that would lay on him and purr, he growls when you rub his belly and sometimes when you spet him, like he's trying to be a cat. Really oddball habits also. he likes getting underneath couch cushions and nesting, or knock them to the floor with his nose, loves hiding under blankets and trying to sneak up on you.

My ex had a puggle (pug/beagle mix) that would do that same stuff! We were together when she got him as a pup, and I taught him the weirdest shit. He'd kinda growl/moan if you rubbed his chest for awhile. Did the same thing with blankets too! He'd slip under the covers and slowly crawl on his belly to lay his head on the pillow between "mommy and daddy." As though we hadn't noticed the 40lb dog jump on the bed and thrash around to get under there in the first place...
I even taught him to sit on the couch (butt on the cushions, leaned back against the couch) so he was sitting completely upright with his front paws off the couch and down at his sides. And he'd really watch tv! Sometimes he was like a kid- you'd try to call him, but he was WAY more interested in the tv! :lolol:
I even developed a system with him for playtime. All I had to do was look at one of his toys, then look back at him and raise an eyebrow and he knew.. It's time to play!!!
I miss that dog like crazy. Maybe I should have let her have the tv instead...
