Well, I hate to do it, but I think I need to sell my Winchester 1300 Defender pump-action 12-ga.
This one was made in New Haven, CT, (before they closed that factory), and has ~20 shells total fired. It is in excellent shape:







The gun holds 8 in the tube and 1 in the pipe. With the Side Saddle receiver-mounted shell carrier, you've got another 6 ready to go, and with the Allen nylon stock-mounted shell carrier, you've got an additonal 5, so fully-loaded in this configuration, you've got 20 12-ga shells either in/on the gun. Not too shabby.

I've also installed a model-specific Limbsaver recoil pad. It lives up to its billing and is far superior to the factory hard rubber pad.

As anyone who's used one of Winchester's "Speed Pump" models knows, the action is exceptionally smooth and fast to operate, imo superior to the comparable Rem and Moss models.

This one also has a hi viz fiber optic green front bead on it, but that can be easily removed if you wish to use the standard brass bead that is also present.

I'm asking $410 shipped to your FFL, (where legal), payment by USPS MO. For that, you get everything pictured, except the shells.

C'mon, ya bastids, someone here's gotta have a use for this as one of their HD firearms.

This'd look a lot less eeevil if ever held up in court by the prosecutor than your S-12 would.

And of course, everything's negociable. I'm not looking for trades, (need the $), but all reasonable offers will be considered.

So what's wrong with having another quality pump in the stable? If you bought this one, once you fired it; I think you'd find yourself selling the Mossy 500.
