ivrfrkbrd 0
Looks really good!!! Learned alot about paint-depth tricks also. Now I have an excuse to get an airbrush. Thanks for sharing.
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Thanks vjor I was wondering if anyone saw that. And pistonring good job man, now I will have to get me an airbrush too. I have been just using canned spraypaint to do camo stuff but I can see how the little airbrush makes the fine detail and shadowing easier. Paint is prolly a lot cheaper too. pistonring8 1
Yea, this paint is cheap and very photo reactive, meaning that when the surrounding light is dark, the paint appears dark. And when there is bright light, the paint and detail is bright. Airbrushing is very simple and inexpensive. You get overwhelmed by the guys who have been doing it for years who will tell you that you need a $300 airbrush and use $50 urothane paint to make anything look good. All the expensive equipment in the world cant compare to some skill and common sense. I took an indoor pic today, it shows a little more detail, now that the clear is cureing. Ill get a good pic after its scotched out and I figure out how to turn the flash off on this camera. I look forward to seeing other guys try this method for camo. uzitiger 193
Make SURE you use AUTOMOTIVE MASKING TAPE when painting your guns otherwise the paint will dissolve the adhesive and make a sticky mess. This is one thing you shouldn't skimp on when painting.
