BruisedShoulder 7
Haven't been around for a while so not caught up on the latest talk. Has anyone mentioned producing a 50 round drum? I can't be the only one who wants more than a 20 round drum.
csspecs 1,987
50 rounds? I'd say just from a feasibility view that it would be easier to make a belt feed attachment. So I'd say its highly unlikely at best.
TheDarkHorse 216
There's no market to support a drum that big. That would be running dubs on a Civic.
patriot 7,197
You'd need to add a pintle mount and treat it as a crew served weapon. Not practical.

RoughRider666 47
feel like adding an extra 15-lbs. to your gun do you???
The_Caged_Bird 474
I think a giant "tear-drop" style mag would be pretty cool, you could even use it to support the weapon's weight...
Cobra 76 two 2,677
An old pic comes to mind of a photochopped SGM stick mag hanging to the ground.... with training wheels....LOL!
timy 1,185
I'm not into low cap. I'm patiently waiting for a 200 rounder.
Bayoupiper 738
50 rounds? AA is already working on it. I hear it's the size of a pizza box. Edited July 1, 2012 by Dancing Bear
Matthew Hopkins 1,065
50 round drum? that thing would weigh more then the SG. I would call a 50 round drum ridiculous and a failure of Wagnerian proportion

corbin 621
Waaaaaay too heavy. Perhaps if you had it mounted to a tripod somewhere? Edited July 3, 2012 by Corbin
unclejake 428
I know that mine is heavy enough with a 20 round drum on it, and I'm not a small person (6ft 235 lbs). I couldn't imagine that it would be anywhere close to "fun" to shoot, but to each their own...
The_Caged_Bird 474
I think I'm going to design a mag system that fits in my foot locker that would hold about two-thousand rounds. With the foot locker sitting on a swivel you could have a hell of a defensive position...

mastalee103 0
50 rounds ...wow. Im imagining a 12 guage beta mag.....a man can dream.
Darko 42
yeah, I was thinking beta mag - not tear drop! yikes!

lbsrdi 1,078
This thread is pure fantasy because it will never happen. That being said I will admit that I want one. Carry on...
telero 4
I like the idea of a 50 round drum because you could put two full boxes of shells in it...but for practical purposes I think a 25 would be better.
chicagosfinest 26
Beta style 50 that fits the magwell would be so nice

I'm for a 25rd drum, reason beside the $100 price on a 20rd, I'm holding out for. There's no market to support a drum that big. That would be running dubs on a Civic. You do know the Civic has been done before right??? Ugly as fvck, but even the normal ones are ugly.
