Groovy Mike 36
Red - have you ever gotten it to work well? When I use mine I end up with more slag to cut off than round balls. Any tips?
RED333 1,025
Yes I did, very good success, took a bit to learn how to. In the end I could get 18 out of 20 to come out well. You do have to trim the sprew off, that is just the way it is.
Groovy Mike 36
I'll just have to practice more! I'm only getting about 10 out of 20.

gunfun 3,930
saveing up on the lead I found about 10 pounds in my shop and fishing stuff Check with dentist shops. They have buckets of lead foil that they might just give you. Very pure, so perfect for lee slugs, but may need tin to fill out well in buckshot molds.

I want to try and make some slugs do you think this mould would be worth while in 16mm
