What Were The Last Things That You Bought (Firearm Related)?

Recommended Posts

Picked up a new range toy, PTR 9ct, which is an HK MP5 clone in 9mm.  Already sent in an Efile Form 1 so I can put on a collapsible stock to give it the MP5A3 look.

Bought a “well used” genuine HK MP5A3 collapsible stock from HK Parts for my newly SBRed PTR 9ct.  Looks old but works perfect.

I haven't bought anything in quite awhile. Yesterday I reloaded eighty five  30-06 rounds, though. Kinda feels like I bought a bunch of ammo.

Now that they're "officially" legal in Ohio, I picked up a Mossberg 590 Shockwave in .410. Bought a few boxes of ammo, too, and even found a box of #4 shot!  :)

Now I just need a place to shoot it... Getting tough around here to do patterning and target shooting with a shotgun. Just a few clays-ranges around here. I can shoot slugs at the indoor ranges, at least.

(Ak  47 mag) palmetto Ks-47 complete lower, another ras-12 upper off gunstroker, some rio 1250 1oz. run good in the sko-12 PGO with 13” barrel. What’s the theories on 1250 1-1/8oz vs 1290 1oz. Or however the math typically is? I’ve been buying the heaviest and fastest stuff I can find for the past 6 month( reclaiming the birdshot in v trap) and was surprised the rio stuff worked...

Couldn't resist a Vortex SPARC II on sale.
Saved $50.00 off the regular retail.

Picked up a 9mm PSA AKV a little over a week ago.  Still haven't shot it due to extremely hot weather or pouring rain.

I was looking for a good, small carry pistol for deep concealment and hot summertime carry. Picked up a Taurus Spectrum .380, just got it out to the range today. It shoots well for it's size, I like it!

Recoil is easy to manage with this one due to the shape and very low centerline of the barrel over the hand. I did have some light primer strikes in the first 50 rounds with Blazer and PMC Bronze ammo, but with the Taurus just pull the trigger again and they fired the second time. (Second-Strike capable) Otherwise, function was flawless. Accuracy very good for me, too. I have hand tremors, and the long, smooth pull seems to help me keep it on-target.

I ran 10 rounds of Hornady Critical Defense ammo through it (5 in each mag.)- they ran GREAT! Very accurate with no problems at all!

After I get more rounds through it for break-in, and to verify no more light-strikes, I think this will be a great carry gun for what I was looking for.  :)

Wife will probably divorce me, but I picked up a new in box 2018 WASR-10 and a Kel Tec Sub 2000 multi mag at the pawn shop.  She hasn't seen either yet.

If she'll divorce you for that. good riddance.

I'll bet she has no idea what guns you've got. My ex didn't have a clue, unless she saw me bringing it home in the box.

She saw the Kel-Tec finally. She gave it a long look and asked "is that new?".  I said "nah.....just haven't taken it out in a long time".  She believed me.  Up next, the WASR!  Although I did just get her a 1913 St. Gaudens double Eagle in a diamond bezel for our anniversary.  That cost a pretty penny.

Ya ever get around to getting personal and intimate with your new AKV?

I'm eyeballing both the AKV and KP9, looking for firsthand impressions.

Miss the food photos. getting ready to reload 2000 rounds of 556 and cannot find my primer pocket cleaner so I got one on amazon.

Looked for 9mm plated 115 grain bullets but there are none to be had.

Hi Fellas,

hows it going for all y'all?

I'll have to try to remember to start posting some food porn and recipes again, maybe some fishing too.

Just pulled the trigger on a new play-pretty from Кала́шникова CШA.

Hard choice between the Kalashnikov USA KP-9 and Palmetto State Armory AK-V, but after much considering of both form and function I went with the KP-9.

Now the questions start,

1. Leave it a pistol and put a brace on it?

2. Which brace and adapter?

3. Go the NFA route and SBR it?

If I SBR it it'll get a triangle folder.

Don't waste your money on the unconstitutional NFA tax. The brace is legal and works just as well.

There is that, I just hate how they tend to change their minds at a whim.

If I go with a brace, I'd like to get one of these,

That'd look good and still have a good feel.

I went ahead and ordered the KUSA Triangle, have to have something for now.

I'll save my spare change and maybe go full Zentico front and rear. Zentico PT-1 with a Tailhook brace.
