Do 16" Models have the threading under the cap??

Recommended Posts

I've seen some pictures of a 16" version 01 with what appears to be a CAP covering the end. Is there threading under that cap on the 16" model??

Then I see another picture of the 54R with possible a CAP covering threading..

Anyone have confirmation on either?? prefer the Version 01 over the 02..

Heres the Ver 02 model from the WPA site..

If I had to guess, on the 01 version in the pic, no. My 16" 5.45 has threads, but the muzzle nut made the forward portion of the barrel larger in front of the FSB, rather than staying the same size or getting smaller, if that makes sense.

I dont know how these things are coming. It may be luck of the draw.
