tbryanh 11
I heard somewhere that the scope on an unconverted Saiga 5.45 must extend backward from the receiver more than it must for a converted Saiga 5.45. This supposedly has to do with the difference in the way the rifle is held when holding an unconverted Saiga (traditional rifle grip) vs holding a converted Saiga (pistol grip). Any info on this? tbryanh 11
More specifically, the unconverted Saiga has a longer buttstock than the converted Saiga, so the optic on the unconverted Saiga needs to extend backwards from the receiver more.
