VaiFanatic90 360
Well folks, It seems my Model 36 is having a hard time letting me push out the cylinder when I move the thumbpiece forward to disengage the locking bolt. Anyone else had this issue? I've lubbed up the locking bolt and it hasn't changed anything.
VaiFanatic90 360
I somewhat remedied the issue by completely tearing down the gun, cleaning and relubing parts. The issue is still there, but it's not as difficult anymore. I'll be looking at a replacing the bolt, locking bolt, and the center pin. Any suggestions on where I can get these parts? Gaddis 1,689
Did you do a good cleaning (look for a new burr or something sticking up) under the extractor star?
VaiFanatic90 360
Did you do a good cleaning (look for a new burr or something sticking up) under the extractor star? I did. It's baffling, because the gun's hardly been shot. The internals look brand new.
ironhead7544 35
Might be a loose ejector rod.

gunfun 3,931
Have you checked numrich for parts? That's where I usually find the things other vendors don't stock/ obsolete parts. Good prices too.
VaiFanatic90 360
Ah! Forgot about Numrich. I'll give it a look. Maybe I can get those parts for the old Taurus Model 85 too.
