logartist 6
I also have that Tru Glo red/green dot. Works great. Tough, holds zero fine and nice n bright. Dubious about your mag mods...but please, just for curiosity sake, give us a high round count range report at some point.

logartist 6
like how many rounds i have through my moded mags?? i put 450 through em today.. Interesting. if it works, it works, I guess. Any wear on the jb weld yet? Chunks missing, gouges? Back to that nice looking rifle: Why the tall riser for the optic? Angle King 0
it works great, 450 rounds through 1 mag just to test the durability and theres no wear no chips no nothin.. very tough.. and the riser optic...not really my favorite but its not bad..sits a little high but works very well.. Gzus Kryst 53
I did same thing to my steel mag, I just used real weld =P used a 1/8 thick 316 stainless steel filler rod tacked it in and built it up a lil works great knocked it out on break at work and still had time for a smoke =) got 500 rounds and still holding up no jams/issues even though I got a BG now I still use it cuz I have it. but having done both I gotta say its really about the same amount of effort/skill/time involved for both.
