Tigerclaw_x 1
Okay, folks. IN Nov of LAST year, I called Robarms and made a deal with their rep: Aaron Hollaway for THREE Vepr Barreled receivers + some other parts (followers, receiver covers, return spring assembleys). I paid for the FIRST Barreled receiver (5.45x39) and spare parts. When I got the package it had the barreled receiver only. No mag followers, no return spring assembleys, no receiver covers. I call Aaron (who even gave me his home email), and he says "Oh, I forgot, I will ship them to you when you order next barreled receivers, but you gotta order two of them at once, okay?" Okay. Call to order again "Oh, it is X-mas season, call us after Jan 10th". Called on Jan 20th "Sorry, our forklift is broken, we can't get to the crates". Called month later "Oh, we are so swamped and there is nobody to go through those crates". Called later "Sorry, we are putting XCR-M out, no time to go through the old crates". After that, they ignored faxes, emails, calls, no matter from what phone I would call. I contacted mr Kermit Zahm, their chief distributer, who offered his help. HE has been given the same run around. He even came over there once and they told him "Nobody is available to help you go through those crates". Other time they told him "Our subcontractors for XRC had screwed up every part they made for us, so we are too busy trying to sort them out.". So, ROBARMS ignored even their chief distributer Mr. Kermit Zahm, who went out of his way to help me. I still didn't even get the parts I PAID FOR ALREADY. So if you are considering buying ANYTHING from Robinson arms - BEWARE. You WILL get screwed just like I did.
sunnybean 939
The CS reports continually stop me from buying a XCR-L although I want one soooo badly.
DogMan 2,343
The CS reports continually stop me from buying a XCR-L although I want one soooo badly. Something major must have changed there. It's been a few years since I bought my XCR but, although there were production delays, they were known for their great customer service. I guess I'm glad I haven't had to deal with them lately.

Matthew Hopkins 1,065
the last thing I bought from RA was a M96 EXPEDITIONARY RIFLE, because that is the only rifle out there that looks like the STONER 63, no other manufacturer makes them, and that was back in 97. nothing else they got even remotely got me tingling for. so you don't have to worry about me buying anything from them Edited September 27, 2012 by Matthew Hopkins

Like I said, I reeeealy want to a XCR-L in the collection. But, the CS reports seem poor. Of course, they said the same thing about the Bushmaster and the ACR, but managed to talk myself into one of them.
MAAnew 162
Maybe they will give you a XCR-M for your inconvenience. Okay, folks. ChileRelleno 7,071
Maybe they will give you a XCR-M for your inconvenience. Inconvenience?Paying for parts, not receiving them and being continually snubbed... That is not being inconvenienced, that is being stolen from. How about they send him the parts he bought and paid for, or refund his money? Thankfully I've never had such a problem with my purchases from MAA. A couple of rifles, some parts and I've had naught but excellent CS from ya'll. BUT. If you really think that way, I may have to rethink buying from MAA in the future. Open mouth, insert foot. MAAnew 162
I was saying parts or money back plus an an XCR-M for the long delay. Mistakes happen, but since the XCR-M is the reason for the delay, maybe he will be comped. Maybe they will give you a XCR-M for your inconvenience. ShadowFire 220
Yeah I've heard some bad crap about Robarms for a few years actually. It's sad. The XCR as a whole does not make me really want anything by Robarms. Just doesn't get the trigger finger happy. And I think everybody that has bought from MAA can agree MAA is a supurb company. I enjoy buying from them and CSS too. Together they are my source for all Saiga goodness.
netpackrat 566
And I think everybody that has bought from MAA can agree MAA is a supurb company. I can't. They lied to my brother a bunch of times about delivery dates and whether or not they had shipped the S-12 he had paid for. I think they screwed up and sold his shotgun to somebody else, and had to wait for their next shipment before sending another one to him. I had ordered one from them about a week earlier, and they actually tried to tell him his had been delivered to the FFL... But they sent him the tracking info for mine. Total customer service disaster. Edited January 18, 2013 by Netpackrat
