SLR106-57 AK Pistol While there have been many AK type pistols sold in the USA, K-Var Corp. is excited to announce the first production and importation of a true, factory made "Krinkov" (AKSU type) pistol in 5.56x45 caliber. The SLR-106UR Pistol uses all standard “Krinkov” components, including the hinge block, top cover with rear sight, front sight block / gas block combination, and Bulgarian mil spec upper and lower handguards with the metal insert and heat shield. Other product features include a sling swivel mounted to the back of the receiver for a comfortable carry, but with a limited 90 degree rotation to reduce spinning or tangling. The original Bulgarian hammer forged, hard chrome lined barrel is 10.5 inches in length and extends under the conical shaped muzzle attachment. This attachment is pressed and pinned on the front sight block, completing the true "Krinkov" look for this unit. The pistol grip on the SLR-106UR Pistol is the modern Arsenal Company made Bulgarian SAW style comfortable and ergonomic pistol grip. Since this is an importable pistol, 922r compliance does not apply to this firearm. This allows the owner to install any original parts he wants to. Or give buyers a threaded FSB for a real muzzle device when SBRing. You'll sell more. But, I really like mine and look forward to the SBR it will be.
