RoughRider666 47
Hey all! I know its been forever since i posted here and i missed you all! I've had a Burris 2.75 power scout scope laying around for over a year that I bought for an SKS project that has since been shitcanned cause I decided to do something else with the SKS. Anyway, long story short. I have an Ultimak rail on my 7.62 saiga and I was pondering around with the idea of mounting the scope on the AK in essence of having a REAL AK scout rifle! I want to use quick detachable rings so i cant quickly swap between my Aimpoint T-1 and the Scout Scope, but I need to know what ring height will be high enough to clear the rear sight block on the AK since the Ultimak is already pretty low. I think Burris' Medium quick detact may be too low at 1/2", but im not sure that the High rings arent too high at 1" im open to all thoughts and suggestions, as me and my rifles are constantly evolving!
