corbin 621
Has anyone heard about the 2012 Pumpkin shoot? I can't find any info on it at all.
haugpatr 972
I was wondering the same thing, it was lots of fun last year. I hope the new rules at the Pit haven't put an end to this fine event! I will try the MGO forum.

corbin 621
I'm still trying to confirm that it's even going on. The only thing I could find on one of the belt fed forums was that someone complained and dug up some obscure DNR law that says while on state land (which the pit is), while target practicing (anything not hunting), a person must have a target and (I think) limit their shots to one a second or less. No idea if this is true. Sheridan Arms from Saginaw is also doing a pumpkin shoot on Saturday, Nov 10th at a private range in the Chesaning area. To keep the crowds from getting too big, they've set it up so people have to register with them and pay the $10 per person fee to come. You can bring whatever firearms you like, but they'll have machine gun rentals there too. I imagine other shooters might let you fire their guns too, if you ask nicely. Anyway, here is the contact information to register: Sheridan Arms LLC/Sheridan Armaments 2486 Midland Road Saginaw, MI 48603 Ph 989-607-0130 Fax 989-607-0131 email: gunshop@sheridanarms.com
XdamagedX 248
As much as I love socializing with my s-12 friends, I'm not a big fan of having that many people CRAMMED into that size of a range
corbin 621
Did anyone make it?
