Eros,

Sorry, I was asking about the gas ports drilled in the barrel. Wondering how many and what size it takes to run at 12 inches. Also, what is the lightest load you can run? Any other modifications done to it?

Ok.

5 ports, 2,5 mm diameter each. This VEPR fire only 32+ gramms cartridges. 24 g sporting and any 28 g - no shell eject.

My friends, Molot Vepr-12 arrived to me today at my local gun shop. Thoroughly impressed to say the least. Puts my Saiga-12 to shame in the looks department. Taking her out to the range tomorrow and I have a good hunch it will shot a whole hell of a lot better than my S12. Round of applause to Atnaltic Firearms for making this a possibility. Expedited shipping (sent via ground and arrived to me in Tennessee in 2 days) and arrived as depicted. Adding a Tromix Shark Brake, a handful of magazines, and I am good to go! Without further ado ladies and gentlemen, the Vepr-12.

Wondering what sight that is on the gun in the back ???

I don't know, IMHO Rifle scope is useless stuff on a shotgun, for the rifle is OK.

Also what forearm rails are installed on these guns ?

RPK Aluminum Rail System VFR-RPK is made by Maco or FAB defense.

Which stock is that?

the stock is from MFT (Mission First Tactical) ar15 stock.

since then added a palms grip, and modified AGP 8 round magazine for a saiga 12 to fit my vepr

Are they simple drop in installation, or did you have to do any modifications?

Most write that it was not difficult for them (don't need qualified gunsmith).

IMHO standard RPK hand guard (US Vepr-12) is more comfortable to use, as well as is more easy to clean the gas tube & FSB ;)

I like it from the buttstock up to the front trunion. Not a big fan of railed handguards - I would like to see a modular handguard that you could attach rail sections as needed. Just my personal preference...

What I really like, is the avitar ec4321! 011.gif
