shoebox56 0
Hi. Before I purchase, can you all verify if this is the correct Muzzle Brake for the IZ 332 (7.62x39)? Here's the link to Combathunting.com: http://www.combathun...31&product=8748 Thanks! Edited November 5, 2012 by shoebox56
Lidocaine Looney 26
Says its 24mm threaded, so yes, that's what you want for that model since they come with the 24mm breaded barrel.. I wasn't aware of that model and barrel/fsb configuration. Pretty neat.
shoebox56 0
I wasn't sure about the Left Hand Thread vs Right Hand Thread. I've read on other forums that seems to imply either one or the other. Not sure which I should get.
Lidocaine Looney 26
Just shoot them an email and ask which hand read it is. Edited November 5, 2012 by Lidocaine Looney
canoecanoe 63
I didn't see a price or option to add it to a cart. Is this available?
thebuns1 4,323
Dont know why they would state that its LH threads. All the AK 100 series use the 24x1.5mm RH threads. Unless its a typo.
richUK 90
As Captain Hero said above, my 104 is rh thread. Edited November 5, 2012 by richUK
Mullet Man 2,114
Why does it keep saying "AK74 (7.62x39)" and then show a picture of a 5.45x39 rifle? Krebs and KVAR both offer a .30cal (7.62) '74 brake that is an exact copy of a Russian or Bulgarian piece. FYI
shoebox56 0
Thanks everyone for all the info. With all the uncertainty pointed out, I think I will pass on the combathunter muzzle brake above. I may just go with the one from Carolina Shooter Supply. I like this one because it's U.S. Made which will help in the 922R: http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-1282/24mm-AK74-Brake-Threads/Detail Somehow I missed this one from my Google'ing. At least this one specifically says it IZ 332. I'll keep looking out for the Krebs and Kvar as well. Can anyone suggest who sells them?
Mullet Man 2,114
Krebs home site, or KVAR's home site. Have to buy direct as far as i know. Another option is a flash hider with 24mm threads.
