Forge 11
I bought a brand new Saiga 5.45 this past Sunday. Since I just bought the rifle, funds are a little short to convert it, so I decided to do the trigger job posted on Youtube for now. I happened to have an extra Saiga FCG from my 223 that I converted, so I decided to do the trigger job on the used parts and then swap them into the new rifle. When I removed the FCG from the new rifle I found a part that was missing on my 223. There is a mysterious 3rd part on the Trigger/Disconnector assembly. Can anyone identify this for me? RED333 1,025
I think it slowes down the cycle rate, if you were to bump fire.
Superhawk138 202
Over travel limiter. It shortens the pull on the trigger. Edited November 7, 2012 by superhawk138

liberty -r- death 1,445
Would that be the part that contributes to trigger slap?
mancat 2,368
Would that be the part that contributes to trigger slap? No. Trigger slap will occur due to using a full-auto disconnector with a mismatched semi-auto FCG, or an improperly machined US-made disconnector. This was an issue with some early US-made FCGs that simply copied the auto disconnector, including the extended tail.

CroCopitateya 0
The trigger is terrible. Just convert it and use a tapco single hook g2 trigger. I buy the non modified ones since I don't use the BHO.
