DogMan 2,343
A round holder! And he just spent four hours cleaning it? Well, what a Saint he is for not selling a dirty gun. Oh, and it doesn't come with any bullets. Edited November 15, 2012 by DogMan
brickfield mfg 86
A round holder! And he just spent four hours cleaning it? Well, what a Saint he is for not selling a dirty gun. I think he probably spent about 15 minutes cleaning it... the other 3 3/4 hours was spent trying to figure out how to take it apart, and how to put it back together!
timy 1,185
I would have bought it if it had come with a few bullets.
gunfun 3,931
I usually think people are petty jerks when they wig out about distinguishing the terms "magazine" and "clip", but how does a person manage to buy a drum magazine without learning what one is called? myndseye 0
What if it was given or inherited, and he or she, is not a gun person? Although highly unlikely it's a female with a username like Impala454s. Edited November 15, 2012 by myndseye
timy 1,185
I usually think people are petty jerks when they wig out about distinguishing the terms "magazine" and "clip", but how does a person manage to buy a drum magazine without learning what one is called? Isn't it called a "round clip"? What's the problem here? What if it was given or inherited, and he or she, is not a gun person? Although highly unlikely it's a female with a username like Impala454s. I disagree. A man would have used Impala454SS as a username, and a real man wouldn't spend 4 hours cleaning an AK based weapon. That either shows ineptitude or anal retentive behavior. Spacehog 2,219
Unconverted Saiga 12, tapco t6 bolt on stock, UTG quad rail, Promag 12 round drum, cheap Chinese fore grip, and 100 lumen flashlight, for 1400 bucks? What's the problem guys? What a great deal!! If he put a UTG laser and bipod on it I bet he could get closer to 2000 grand.
D-H 20
Seems to be pretty common on gunbroker.

SaigaKen 338
The current bid is $1000?
Bayoupiper 738
Ok, That weapon has to belong to someone on here. Someone who is always telling us what an expert they are. Maybe we should start a poll.
gunfun 3,931
Tallying up his parts, I believe he did spend over a thousand on that. In very round numbers- I'm going to assume this guy didn't get the best deals on his stuff. s12: $600 utg rail ~$100 pogostock ~$114 light/grip ~$100-150? AGP stick ~$30 round clip ~$85 Nice case ~$100 or more So the guy sounds ignorant and chose parts that someone who doesn't know better would choose. He isn't asking for insane money for what he spent. While I would obviously prefer a proper legal/physical conversion, a pg stock on an s12 is still much nicer than the average tube shotgun that retails for $1000. The bidder who put in 1000 probably tallied up all those parts, because he would have bought the same things (also being uninformed, except for youtube and looking at cheaper than dirt for options) He probably figures that he is coming ahead of building it himself by a free case and a free flashlight thing. Big John! 2,062
1st… Sunnybeans avatar is KILLING me. Second… I have some of the parts he has on his gun and am happy with it. I'm spending what money I can on getting internals done nicely. The accessory parts aren't nearly as important to me as the guts. $.02 That said… If the bidding is truly at 1k right now, I think you guys are calling the wrong person ignorant. He's smarter than all of us, it would seem, haha...
gunfun 3,931
He's still going to lose some money. I think what most people are laughing about is that he hasn't done the actual changes that matter (moving the trigger group to the proper place, addressing any gas or friction issues) and is bragging about a build that is based on an inferior shortcut. They are also laughing at how vague and confused his description of what he is selling is. He says it has a "high-end" light on there. Brand and model might be a relevant detail. Ditto for the "round clip" That is generally a big selling point to people who haven't heard of S12s before. It might be worth mentioning how many rounds it holds and what brand it is....
