psw757 1
Is there a particular pad that is good and fits either the tapco polymer stock or the oem wood stock?
gunfun 3,931
Dunno, but grind-to-fit of a quality pad often looks nicer and isn't too hard. Also, you will probably get a better feeling pad for your troubles. I did a how-to for a standard AK stock, which I think may have a slightly smaller footprint. The process would be the same though. Guide Comfortable Wood Goodness with a modern touch. - Tech Section - forum.Saiga-12.com Obviosly a bigger footprint is more comfortable and also makes it easier to have both a good shouldering, and a good cheekweld in a natural position. To be truthful, standard AK stocks are a bit on the small side on the vertical axis for what I prefer.

alternety 7
This would be (and will be once I get a new stock) my choice. http://www.kickeezproducts.com/
gunfun 3,931
I hate that ugly mess of a slip-on that everyone plugs. The "grenade pad" is bulky, hideous, some are hard, and by the time it is shipped costs as much as a nicer slip on like a limbsaver.
