jamen 8
I saw on Gunbroker that someone is listing new US made 12 inch Saiga barrels, not drilled for gas ports yet. They could be a US made part for section 922® purposes, but the main benefit could be that there are no old gas ports to deal with when scooting the gas system back for shorty guns. I am excited about a new option being available. Edited December 9, 2012 by Nailbomb Grey area crossing add rules.
rs51085 136
looks nice. thanks for the heads up. does anyone know anything about using a "2" ak pistol piston" on an s 12 with the gas block moved back to accommodate it? would this be heavy duty enough to work? MaloDave 19
They also Have a 18" version on their website. Cost of either barrel is $329 on website $250 on gunbroker. I almost want to see if they would make one at a length to fit a GK-01 to come out to 18 inches to be legal with out a tax stamp or wait. Malodave

jamen 8
I talked to the owner, Paul. Turns out he is local to me, here in Colorado. He has a web site, iccmfg.com which is evolving. He has the 12 inch barrels now, with the shoulder for the gas block for that 2 inch pistol piston shown on the web site, or the shoulder can be turned further back to work with the Tromix shorty piston. I am planning to have him put one of his barrels on my shorty Saiga, when that gets done I can offer an evaluation. One thing you can do to offset the cost of the barrel is to sell the factory one. I plan to do that.
ec4321 113
Any plans for rifled barrels?
S12KS-K 40
No chrome lining though. I wish these little shops would start making original AK conversion parts (gas blocks, front sight blocks, etc) to spec.. K-var prices are outrageous.
lelandeod 179
I'm interested in getting my hands on one of these. Sure would be cool to experiment with a SBS Vepr-12 without mucking up the original barrel during the R&D process.
Valhalla 4
I wonder if these guys are part of Iron Ridge Arms? They do some neat stuff there.

lbsrdi 1,078
Very true, but the Tromix may be worth waiting for. The good news is that we will soon have barrels.
