ChileRelleno 7,071
As most here know, I was lucky enough to win the Grand prize in TAC47's, '4th of July Contest'. The Grand Prize, was a complete standard conversion of a Saiga 12 shotgun... FREE! The Contest: http://forum.saiga-1...fourth-of-july/ TAC47 Industries: http://www.tac47industries.com/ My S12 was already converted, done by me and done on a budget, so I was really happy. I sent it off mid-July, and it is finally back in my hands. TAC47 ended up going well beyond their initial prize outline, showing some really incredible generosity in outfitting the gun. My sincere thanks and gratitude to TAC47 for their generosity... Thanks Cliff! Receiver holes TIG'd Complete Refinishing Thorough Reliability Tuning, including adding a fourth gas port. Cut Receiver and weld on new back plate. Ace Folding Mechanism & AR tube for collapsible stock. New Sights TACSRT Trigger AutoPlug BEFORE AFTER Get off my lawn! Generous amount of Porn for your viewing pleasure. HK MP5 weld on sights, with XS Systems Tritium Big Dot front and Ghost Ring rear. TACSRT, Short Reset Trigger/Flat trigger... Yep its a reworked Tapco G2. I do like the feel of the flat trigger, it feels more... It feels more natural to just rest the ball of my index finger on it, rather than tend to wrap around it with the first knuckle. I really look forward to taking this to the range, the reset is only about 1/8", with practice it is going to be very fast. The trigger's pull weight is pretty light, I don't think I would want it any lighter I bought a digital fishing scale, and it tests out at an average 2lbs 7oz. pull weight. TAC47 AutoPlug, the cat's meow in automatic gas regulation. Ace Folder Also shows the work they did with modifying the rear of the receiver. Nice work! TAC47 Custom Charging Handle I'm wondering if this is a turned & polished Tromix? Safety Lever Stop, Edited December 1, 2012 by ChileRelleno

evlblkwpnz 3,418
In reference to the title.... well, duh. TAC47 is one of my favorite companies in this part of the firearms industry. It is refreshing to see work from a shop that actually looks like a professional did it. No rabid monkey with an abrasive disc bullshit there. Not my style of build, but very well done! If I didn't do my own work, they would likely be getting my money. They do AK100 retrofits too and there are very few shops that can pull that off and leave it looking like it came from the factory. First Class.

ChileRelleno 7,071
Hey, that's an incredible S-12. You're a very fortunate guy Chile! CONGRATS! Thank you. Yes, it looks damned sexy, and yeah, I was just plain lucky with the random number draw. My upcoming Pay It Forward contest will not be a matter of luck, it will take work, it will take someone who wants it.
