Every year I try to make one more strand of Shot-shell Christmas lights! It is super easy. Just punch holes in the top of the shells, slice them open, to the top, and place over light and cord!

Although I am sure that any of you out there worth yer weight in salt, already do this.......

LOL I made a string of them this past weekend. I get the battery opperated rice size light strings.

Re crimp the empty casesand hot glue gun the light in. I use Winchester AA and Remington low brass so I can alternate red and green.

Yep, the small battery operated strands work great for making a shotshell wreath. 034.gif

With lights like that i might actually decorate for christmas

 

I'll look for some lights to make you some then. What colors do you want? I have clear, green, red, & some other colors. Black might not be the best though.
