SGM Tactical 7.62x39 Vepr 30 round mag

Recommended Posts

Well I may have made a lady happy today at Bills. She bought a Vepr in x39 and asked about high cap mags. I simply told her about these and that Ive seen them on this forum and she jotted down the name and thanked me for the info. She will be happy to know that she doesnt need to add anything to the gun to make these run. Good job SGM!

we have the mold finished and have about 20 ran from the mold that work perfectly. we are concentrating on running saiga 12 and vepr 12 mags at the moment so hopefully when we get caught up on the back orders we will be able to run them.

A stock rifle with one of these bad boys is 922r compliant, I assume?

No. You'd still be adding an "evil" feature, anything holding over 10 rds, and it would no longer be considered "sporting".

These mags seem to work well with no issues for me. They don't feel as sturdy as a milsurp mag, but they also don't require modifications to the rifle or mag which is a huge plus. At $30 I feel good about the purchase in today's market and would recommend them to anyone that doesn't want to change a lot of stuff on their vepr. 032.gif

I too would like to see these in 5.45x39 so I wouldn't have to install a bullet guide and could use the 5 or 10 round factory mags too.

Edit: add pics

Even after installing a bullet guide, and filing the catch, you can still run your 5 and 10rd mags. You'll just have to mod them like you would a Saiga.

How bought making em for the Vepr 223? Please? Pretty Please?

Don't say you don't make 223 mags. I have ten of them for my Saigas.big_smile.gif

I'd likely need about the same amount for my Veprs.

That's very interesting to know, it definitely will influence which caliber to purchase. Had my sights on a Super Vepr in .223 too, whats the difference between the Pioneer Vepr vs Super Vepr, any ideas?
