IndyArms 10,186
FIrst question, does it slide on from the front, or from the rear? If it slides on from the front... you got a problem... thats an SVD style mount and is a NO GO on the saiga...it will NEVER work, unless you do just that... WELD or pin it on... If its from the back... thats one down, several things to go... you have obviously adjusted the star wheel, and made it so it is still adjustable, as you said... you can dry drilling a hole in from the bottom, and into the siderail then insert a roll pin, to hold it in place... other than that, we will have to work this one step by step... and yes... welding it on will work! any other suggestions guys? pistonring8 1
If hes useing the Belarius mount (slides on from the rear) I can give him a photo "how to" on how to adjust it tight. Im not very familiar with the other mounts.

G O B 3,516
If it slides on from the front, then put the mount on the rail- drill a small hole through the mount and rail. Take the mount off and drill and tap the new hole in the mount for a 10-32 set screw. Counter sink the hole in the sight base to fit the cone shape of the tip on the set screw. This will tighten the mount and still be removeable with an allen wrench. G O B
