Anubis 38
While Firebird products, and dicussions related to Firebird products do end up on this forum, at this moment we are not vendors. That is going to change shortly, at that time we will be able to discuss all our products and answer all questions.

ToysRUs 8
Oh, Momma........ I'm afraid to ask the price. Can I order one before eveyone at SHOT sees it and orders one or 500???

james lambert 3,059
Awesome!!! I wish the bottom would be converted to take saiga 12 mags. The action bar aka bolt carrier, and the upper reciever in the MKA are too narrow to accept a polymer magazine. That is why no complete polymer mag will ever exist for this firearm. This close to Shot Show, I bet Jim's keeping a little info aside to release at the show. After that I'm sure they will answer all of our questions. Haycock 9
Are these receivers going to have to go through a FFL to buy?
ToysRUs 8
Are these receivers going to have to go through a FFL to buy? I'm sure it will just like an AR Lower. Couple of Jim questions: This lower is stripped or loaded? The stock is part of the unit or an option? Normal buffer tube screws into the lower? ARR ramp system??? james lambert 3,059
Are these receivers going to have to go through a FFL to buy? I'm sure it will just like an AR Lower. Couple of Jim questions: This lower is stripped or loaded? The stock is part of the unit or an option? Normal buffer tube screws into the lower? ARR ramp system??? The lower can be purchased stripped, loaded or as a complete gun. The stock is a standard AR-15 stock, the receiver accepts any AR-15 stock. Accepts CAR tubes or A2 tubes and both Mil-Spec and Commerical. Yes the receiver used the ARR ramp as a replaceable part. Are these receivers going to have to go through a FFL to buy? Yes this receiver is considered a firearm in itself. All firearms must be serialized and transfered through an FFL dealer.
ec4321 113
Are you also going to be offering Uppers? I saw a pic in another thread. Come with it, Jim.
james lambert 3,059
Are you also going to be offering Uppers? I saw a pic in another thread. Come with it, Jim. I am gioing to get a quote for an extrusion to build uppers from, this could take some time. Total machine from billit is a little too steep, I need to keep this project as inexpensive as possible. Been shooting the new guns all day...not one glitch as of yet... Jim

SHOTGUNWIN 1
Hi, Jim Thanks for the exiting news...and Congratulation I've been waiting for a lower receiver to go with the Mka 1919. Is your upcoming aluminium lower receiver Good to go with the Newer Version of Mka 1919 that comes with the Pins to connect the upper/lower receiver ???????
Anubis 38
The only evidence for a "pin" we've been able to construe is from pictures on XN's website. We have a number of the newest versions with the XN serial number suffix and they do not have pins. Our receiver is 100% compatible with all versions of the gun currently imported, as are our handguards and other products.
