opto_isolator 3
I replaced the front sight blocks on both of my rifles. Carefully cut the old ones off, and replaced with the 74 style with 24mm threads. I've read on here multiple times that they need pinning, and that press fitting them on will only be temporary until the barrel heats up and they fly off with my brake installed. So - who has done this before? Are there any step by step pictorials on how to do this? The front sights that I bought don't have any holes drilled in them where the pins would go. Do I install the sight, than drill the holes, or should I drill them with the sight off the rifle? Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
Agent Lemon 157
Drill press + 3mm bits + 3mm pins Nothing to it as long as you drill straight. Components need to be in their correct spot before pinning, so make sure that its installed where you need it, and that its installed straight. Then pin.
